Do you agree/like the "cry it out" method?

It depends. There are methods for cry it out that I liked, but it wasn't until my daughter was 7-8 months old that we started usinf it. We would go in every 10-15 min and soothe her.  That lasted a couple weeks.  Once we got a noise machine it was 100% changed, she no longer cried and screamed. She needed a comfort item.

Worked for us, only took 2-3 nights. But then sp.he got sick, we moved and also had another baby. With all of that going on, we broke habit and then she didnt want to sleep alone any more. Instead of doing the CIO method again, i brush her teeth, read her a few books and then lay down in a bed next to her crib until she falls asleep

Depends on the baby's age. I'd do it when my baby is closer to one.

Being a mom of two sometimes one kid has to cry while I'm taking care of the other. I get the baby first because he is only two months but my three year old might be crying. Also my three year old is super independent and I had him cio sometimes.

If the baby is old enough and the method is used reasonably it can be effective, but personally I think there are other, gentler methods you could try first.
