Cat problems

This is completely off topic of this app but I need help. My cat sheds like CRAZY now matter how much I brush him. I can literally pull a clump of hair off of him. It's all over my bed and I dont know if this is a problem or not.. I'm sure i sound dumb but if there's any way to stop this I really need to know 😐 He sheds like this all year round. Not just during the summer.
