Do you recommend a birthing ball?

First time mom, unsure what labor will be like but would love your input! Birthing ball, yes or no?

A regular exercise ball works the same and will be cheaper

Are you planning on medicated or unmedicated?

Answer

Depends.  I used the ball pre labor to help with stretches but while I was in labor I couldn't stand to be on it.  It made the pain so much worse!  Water and counter pressure worked best for me then the epidural lol
