People can do yoga and exercise while wearing them, and they come in different styles depending on whether you want a softer or firmer rim (this depends on how strong and taut the muscles in your vagina are) and some have a stem and others don't  (this is because some sit higher or lower depending on how high or low your cervix is). Anyone that I know who uses one absolutely loves them because you don't have to empty them as often as you have to change tampons (this depends on how heavy your flow is). They are an ibestment and if you use them every month then you will save money in the long run. This is also true for cloth pads. There are many different varieties of cup and many different brands.
