Caffeine?

How bad is caffeine really? I hear conflicting advice all the time. I've tried to limit it but sometimes it's hard to avoid with chocolate and some teas.

I don't count chocolate ;) I think unless you are eating a lot of the really fancy kind with a high cocoa content, than you don't need to worry about it. ;) Limit the drinks to 1-2 per day ;)

Ask your doc. Mine said 1 cup of coffee a day was ok, I'm down to about 1 cup half decaf, but if I go to a coffee shop on the weekend or something I often get regular.

If you are pregnant high caffeine intake is linked to miscarriages so I definitely wouldn't risk it. My doctor said 1 cup of coffee or soda a day was all I could have. I've just cut it out altogether. For a non pregnant person caffeine can also be harmful in large doses but with sodas I think I'd be more worried about all the sugar and other bad stuff in them. I haven't done sodas in almost a year and I feel much better honestly.

Just change to decaf ☺️ I wouldn't worry about caffeine in chocolate though girly, it's minimal.
