I'm sitting in my hospital room at 3 am. We had our daughter two nights ago and are going home tomorrow. The nurse comes in and asks if she can take my daughter to redo her hearing test. I asked why it needed to be redone, and apparently one of her ears failed. They never told me! This was like twelve hours ago!!! The nurse said, well sometimes they fail because they have fluid in their ears. My fiances side of the family has TONS of hearing issues. Now I'm sitting in my room trying not to bawl. How don't you tell a parent that when the issue arises so when your doctor is here you can ask questions!? Am I over reacting here?
