questions to religious women:
My close friend is a strong catholic. She is having a very risky pregnancy. She has been hospitalized for severe hypertension. Today, she told me that she would *NOT* chose her own life over her unborn child. She would die if that allow her fetus to survive. She says this is because her life is no more valuable than her unborn child's. She thinks her unborn child has equal rights as her, And it's up for GOD to decide who would survive. How common this this view? Do you agree with her? If an unborn child has the same rights as the mother, do you believe that God should decide in a difficult medical situation?
