As a nurse who has stared at many many vaginas looking for the urethra to start a catheter let me tell you Everybody is different.

The photos you see from medical books, they just show general anatomy. 
Your urethra is located below your clitoris and above your vaginal opening. It doesn't matter if it's closer to the vagina or clit, if it's between those two things your normal. 
Every vagina is different, different sizes, different colors, different shapes. Don't fret too hard over pictures in the books.
