Episiotomy healing

My baby is two weeks old tomorrow and last night I plucked up the courage to finally have a look "down there" at my episiotomy. Omg! My partner has been lovely and he's been checking it for me, telling me it all looks absolutely fine, but I was shocked! It's not sore or anything now and my midwife has checked it and said it's all healing well but I'm just having a day in mourning for my now permanently changed vagina! 😂 oh the joys of motherhood! He was definitely worth it though!
