Going off birth control?

My husband and I would like to ttc this year. Some people say be off birth control for a while, some say it doesnt matter. Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated!

I went to my gyn for my annual appt and discussed this topic, I have had baby fever for years but just recently got married in sept and immediately after the wedding, had some financial things to sort out then got a new job, so here I am. My gyn said, your most fertile period after stopping bc (I've been on for 12yrs) would be within the 1st 6months, so she told me to come off when we were ready so you don't waste months not trying. So I have 3 pills left in this pack and we are off to begin the journey too, I am praying it happens right away but have read it depends on the person and how regular your body was prior to going on the pill. My fingers r crossed, I wish you all the luck!

I've heard so many different things. I just can off 1 week ago so that when I am ready, hopefully we'll be able to get pregnant. Though this app sure has made me want to ttc sooner rather than later! 😊👶👍

It depends on the person! 
I was on birth control for 10 years due to endometriosis. I started taking BC early because I was in so much pain. 
I came off of BC in November 2014. We got pregnant February 2015. Baby #1 is due November 1
I say don't stop taking BC unless you are okay with getting pregnant because sometimes it happens quickly! 
We were actively trying and it only took 3 cycles.
