OPKs picking up hcg??

Question

I read online that they can pick up hcg, I took two one yesterday one today, (ran out of hpts 2 days ago and was expecting AF so didn't get more) I'm 4 days late on my period, but I started spotting brownish/pink today. I've been crampy for 6 days and all negative tests. What's happening? Should I go get an hpt even if I'm spitting? Sorry if I sound crazy, swear I'm not!

I ran out last cycle too. I was a day late for my period so I tried some OPKs and they were faint positives, but my period came the next day. I don't think you can rely on an OPK to get your hopes up.

If you don't get a possitive hpt then the opk is not picking up hcg...if the opk is picking up hcg than a hpt will be possitive as well😉

I am pregnant and I have used OPKs for fun. My test line is always super dark and my control line very faint.
