EDIT- I don't think I want coconut oil because it's higher on the rating scale to clog them.

I don't do DIY. But straight pure coconut oil is like the best option I've tried. Makes your armpits very smooth, helped with some weird discoloration and also helps to avoid BO. I tend to use it most frequently, but sometimes I miss the nice smells of other deodorants. But especially if I'm going strapless or wearing black, coconut oil is best. Doesn't leave any marks and doesn't get all clumpy from sweating like normal deodorants do.

Just a warning, once you use natural deodorant, your body has to release the stored up toxins and stuff in your body. You might smell HORRIBLE for months depending on how well your body adjusts. But once your body releases the toxins and adjusts, it'll work great :) check Pinterest for DIY deodorant recipes!
