Too many wet/dirty diapers?

We have to empty our diaper genie every day. My boy likes to wait until he has a fresh diaper and then poo again. He's 2 weeks tomorrow but I feel like I'm constantly changing him. I breastfeed every 2 hours or so on demand and he produces more soiled diapers than feeds. I'm happy he's wetting and all but is there a thing as too many wet/dirty diapers?

Nope, that's normal for his age. It'll slow down and regulate soon. As long as the poop is yellow and grainy you're fine.

Breast milk pretty much goes right through them, esp in the beginning. It's very normal what u are describing. It will slow down as baby gets a little older.

It's completely normal when they are newborns to go through alot of diapers! They will decrease as they get older.

My son is now a month and was the same for the first few weeks. It will regulate soon

We cloth and I would go through 15-20 diapers a day when my girl was that age.
Now we do 8ish a day. 9 months in
