what to eat before the glucose test

So my glucose test is at 1:30pm so there's no way I'm going to be able to fast. I was wondering if any of you have some breakfast ideas and when I should eat. I'm a little stressed out about the test if you can't tell.😅

I would go high protein and avoid things high in sugar like fruit. Maybe have some eggs or avocado and whole wheat toast. I've been loving hummus and veggies for a snack lately. Good luck momma! 😊

I had a clif bar, bowl of watermelon, and pb sandwich before mine and passed. They told me to eat like I normally would

I didnt have to fast for my 1 hr.  I ate eggs and a babybel cheese.  2 oz of orange juice to take my prenatal (too icky to take with just water) and a lot of water.

I had eggs in the morning before mine and a cheese stick about an hour before I had to drink the juice and I passed. But this was for the challenge screening not the three hour test so I don't know about that one. Not sure what time zone youre in this might not be that helpful at this point! 😂

You aren't supposed to fast. Eat normally, just avoid excess sugar.

I ate a whole thing of ciabatta and had a cup of coffee lol........... I needed something heavy so bread was the way to go.... I can't go to a doctors appt and then do the test and fast. I'll pass out or worse get hangry and attack people because of the wait. I still passed. Thank god

I didn't fast at all. My doctor stressed that it was not a fasting test. I just ate some scrambled eggs, toast, and my normal coffee with creamer. She told me as long as I'm not pounding pixie sticks and gummy bears before hand I should be fine.
