Humid

So it's been very muggy, rainy, and humid in my area. As a result it feels hot/humid upstairs but cold at the same time. So, I've put the fan on. Not directly on baby but near his direction. Baby has been coughing in his sleep and so has the rest of the house. I have a vaporizer on in the room to help. What else can I do? My mother says to take him to the Dr but I don't see why because he can't have medicine for something like this.
