bed time routines for your 1&1/2 year olds

What are your bed time routines for your 1/1&2 year olds? Right now I'm rocking my son to sleep, but it's getting really old & tiring and mentally exhausting for my husband &I I & im almost 8 months pregnant. Now we just out him in his crib but as soon as we walk out of the room he starts screaming & that doesn't help the situation either. Any help ladies?? 😢
