Bleeding During Ovulation?

Hi Ladies,

I am 35 and I am experiencing bleeding (old brown blood) for the first time during Ovulation. Thanks to Glow I know that. Has this happen to anyone? Is this normal? My doctor appointment in about a week out. Please let me know what your options are. I have never had a child or been pregnant, nor on any preventive for the record.

This started happening to me last cycle..idk what it was. I described it to my aunt who is an obgyn she said sometimes during ovulation you can shed old blood. She said it's called midcycle bleeding.

It's fairly normal. Also common is a word I can't spell to save my life but it's cramping around ovulation time. I wouldn't worry too much. Keep the doctors appointment though because it'll probably make you feel a thousand times better to hear it from a medical professional than some random Internet stranger (hey, I'm Katie by the way. About to be 27. TTC for 7 years) but yes. Some bleeding around ovulation is fairly common.
