My husband and I are so frustrated with the nurses. I'm sorry to all the nurses who are following protocol and doing their jobs but why must they come in at the most inconvenient times. The nurses come in to take baby's vitals at such bad times, for example: 2am, 4am, 9pm, 11pm, along with day times. It's already hard as is trying to put baby to sleep but as soon as she sleeps the nurses come in to wake her up. Then she becomes fussy. I'm struggling as is with trying to breastfeed and keep her sleeping for a good amount of time. Also today lab came in to draw her blood twice, it was the hardest thing I had to see and go through, watching my baby crying because she got poked in the foot. The second time I couldn't watch and asked my husband to sooth her as I go into the bathroom and cried. I never knew how much it would hurt me or how much love I would have for this baby. Now I know the love my mother had for me growing up, the unconditional love of a mother.
