So is it normal for a woman to not want her family to rub her belly? My daughter is now pregnant with her second child and won't let me rub her belly. She didn't let me rub her belly with the first one either and it kind of hurts my feelings. Is that normal?

I would absolutely hate having that done to me. I wouldn't get offended at all if someone didn't let me put my hands all over them.

It's not weird at all.  It is her belly and her rules, keep your hands off of it, if that's what she wants.

I ALWAYS hated that. As soon as people approached me, seemed like they had their hands reaching for my belly. I generally don't like being touched but when I'm pregnant it's worse.
