torn stitches
I went to my ob for a 3 week pp checkup and he told me that some of my stitches ripped and I've started healing naturally. I'm pretty upset since I've been calling to complain since the pain got worse and multiple nurses said it was normal. I was convinced I had a prolapsed uterus. It's awful and the doc could only tell me to expect 2-4 more weeks of pain. Has anyone else had their stitches tear postpartum? Did it affect anything long term? I'm ready to get out with my baby and start getting back to some kind of exercise routine but the doc said to take it easy. We've had a few short outings for appointments and quick runs to the store, but I'm miserable after each day when I'm on my feet or bottom too much. I also haven't quite mastered nursing laying down. I'm scared to fall asleep and roll over. My next appointment isn't for 4 weeks!
