I can never sleep on my period and I tend to toss and turn all night long.

I only sleep on my side because I use pads and if i lie on my back ill leak. But it feels like heaven to sleep on my back again after 4 days. 
Id probably still say side if you used tampons. If you cramp it can reduce pain.
