Did you or did you have braces?

What do you think about them! I have the spring things cuz I didn't wear my elastics and my right cheek is all bruised and cut up; any suggestions on what to do?

Yes. I also had the springs and the elastics. If you're being cut by something, use the wax they give you. If you don't have any, you can buy it from any drug store. Just place it over the wire that's scraping you.

Get those wax sticks and tube them on the braces. It will work wonders!

Still have mine and the wax NEVER  helps I usually just take Tylenol and sleep

I was one of the first in my year at 14 I felt horrible but I'm so glad I went through the pain now

The first few tighnings sucked, but I got used to it. Unfortunately, I could never fall asleep with my retainers in because I felt like I was suffocating, so I had to stop wearing them 😓 pissed off my mom but my teeth only shifted a little bit and it's been years so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had braces Jr high-freshman year and I HATED them lol they were painful and did not look on me lol. I love the outcome though ❤❤

I had springs too. Hurts like a bitch, but there isn't really much you can do to stop the pain. Ibuprofen was my best friend. And if you're in a relationship, keep the make out sessions to a minimum 😣 not only did I cut his lips, but the inside of my cheek bled from the spring

Yes. I had them from 13-16. I had the elastic. I didn't mind them except when they had to tighten then. Then they sucked lol
