first morning urine?

When you take a pregnancy test I know it's best to take it w/ first morning urine. Does this include if you have to pee in the middle of the night? Last time I peed in the middle of the night then took the test it was negative. Could this have some effect on the result? Help please!

Well it depends, I've heard consistently that as FMU is more to do with holding in ur pee (so it's more concentrated) rather than the actual time of the day, so basically as long as u don't pee for a long period of time it's considered the same. From what I know as long as u don't pee for 4 hours or longer it's the same thing. I did that with this pregnancy and tested in the afternoon and got my BFP. Test again for ur peace of mind and good luck!
