Does letrozole affect OPK's

Question

Hi ladies

I am on first cycle using Femera Letrozole

I got a positive OPK on day 15 (I normally ovulate much later). I didn't, however, get sensitive nipples like I notmally do post ovulation (normally a day or two after positive OPK).

So, was wondering if the drugs can give false readings?

Or it may be the drugs have altered hormones and the normal sore nipples just didn't happen! Been ttc for 2 years during which I haven't ovulated for 4 different months.

I have mild PCOS apparently

Waiting for results of my day 21 blood test so guess that will show if I def did ovulate but wondered if any of you had experienced false OPK readings?

Took my first round of femara last month. Tested on day 12, negative. Tested on day 16, positive ovulation. Femara is meant to make you ovulate. Chances of it being a false positive of ovulation aren't likely.

I know Clomid causes false positives so I would assume so does Femara I'm about to start my first cycle after 5 rounds of Clomid. Good luck to you and tons of baby dust
