getting baby back to breast

I had an injury on my nipple and started pumping/bottle-feeding instead of nursing (with nursing sessions 1-2 times a day). After couple days my baby just refused the breast and screams if I keep trying to offer him the breast :/ I like to see how much he eats and to be able to get out of the house, which comes with bottle feeding. But I miss breast feeding, and in some cases it's more convenient. My baby is calmer with a bottle though... Any advice on whether I should keep trying to offer him breast? And what should I do for that? I'd appreciate your advice and experience :)
