is it crazy to think about adoption even if we get pregnant
My husband and I love to give back to the community and always feel very fortunate. We have also had a very difficult time with my stepson and his mother. Unfortunately, we don't have much contact with him anymore now that's he's older and under her thumb. We have so much love to share and are financially and otherwise stable. We put off growing our family bc of the attention we needed to give the stepson situation so we're a little behind. We have been trying to conceive for maybe 8 months now and plan to continue to try. I feel like I will hopefully be able to have my own child, but can't seem to shake the feeling that we would like to adopt. Is it insane and overly ambitious to think about adopting and having our own at the same time?! I think we're just so so ready to grow our family and share this life! Am I just being impatient? Not getting any younger! Do you all have just the one child or several?! Doubling the household too much? We'd adopt a child not a baby.....
