Congrats to all the new mommas out there! I'm 12 days pp with a healthy baby boy and am finally feeling like myself again. I'm thinking I'll have a glass of wine with dinner tonight!

Have any of you ladies already been drinking alcohol again? How has that gone with breastfeeding? We have some bottles of expressed breast milk saved up.

Rule my doctor gave me: if I am sober enough to drive, I am sober enough to breastfeed

I ended up having my son in April on the 18th but had a margarita for mother's day and have had a couple glasses of wine on,separate days and still fed/pumped and saved the milk bc I wasn't feeling the alcohol at all and that's the rule of thumb.
