So my son is a week old. I have exclusively breastfeed him since birth. His poop is not seedy. It was loose and the last day or two kind of mucusy looking. It's not a lot either. Just a little bit at a time. I called pediatrician Tuesday when it was just loose stool. The nurse I talked to said the loose stool was normal for being breastfeed but again said its usually seedy which my son's hasn't been. Now its mucusy looking. He's eating and peeing. No signs of sickness; no fever or vomiting, very alert when awake. Should I be worried? Or call the dr again?
