First period after C-section?

I'm 3 weeks post partum today and I had very very light bleeding the last week and the last two days barely anything. Well today, possibly tmi I had a pad on, and a heavy one at that, but when I got off the couch after napping I bled so much it got all over the couch too. Soo my question is could this be my first period post C-section? Like it's definitely not like the bleeding I had before.
