My baby girl has high bilirubin (not high enough for light sessions). She's been in the lab 4 times getting poked for blood. It pains me so much to see these little needle pokes at the bottom of her tiny little feet. I cried the first two times. The 3rd time I let my husband go into lab with her. This 4th time I stood by her and tried to sooth her. The person drawing her blood was in training with the tech and so she was extra slow 😢 my baby was crying in pain. And the tech was so hard on her foot when trying to clot the poke to stop the bleeding. 😢😢😢 I never thought I'd be so emotional and in this much pain watching my little girl.
