Side Effects of the Pill?

I'm getting on birth control. I'm undecided between the pill or IUD. I know some of the effects of the IUD and I read some of the pills. But I want some information and real experiences with the pill. Can you please tell me about it.

I've been on 3 different brands of pills in the 10 years I've taken them. The first brand which I have forgotten the name made me gain a little weight, I had extreme mood swings and depression. The second were ortho cyclen. Which made me lose all interest in sex completely! My mood swings went away. I started getting frequent headaches, still had depression but not too bad. Had crazy food cravings during pms week and gained a little more weight. And started getting acne on my chin every month before my period. This last brand that I'm on Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo, I still have frequent headaches, my libido came back a little bit, I still get food cravings every pms but not as bad. And now I get acne on my chin and on my forehead. 😒 BC pills suck lol. I am stopping after this last pack to see how I feel being off of them. I've heard women say it's the best thing they've done bc they forgot how much better they feel when they aren't on the pill(minus the heavier periods and cramps 😣). I was on alesse 28 for 3 years. It made me irritable and emotional, lost all sex drive and it dried me up during sex. It did keep my periods super regular (I've always been on time but on the pill it was like down to the same hour every month). I also used it as my only form of BC and I never got pregnant.
