Sit me up?

About how old were your babies when you started putting them in sit me up's or bumbo's?

My son is 3 months and loves to sit up so we got him a seat. He has excellent head control just no torso control yet lol. I never just leave him in it though... I always keep an eye on him to see if he's getting tired or seems to be listing to the side too much and I take him out immediately. He absolutely adores those suction toys that I can put on the table and once we introduced him to that his motor control improved in a matter of days it was incredible.

I put him in it starting at 2 months with close supervision. But he also had pretty good head control

We started using the sit-me-up at 3 months. He's 9 months now and it's going to be retired tomorrow. We've been using it for eating snacks in the living room but he finally got too big. I love that thing. He thought it was great when he wanted to sit but couldn't, and I still think it's amazing how much use we got out of it.

Around 11 weeks i started putting my daughter in a bumbo and she loves it! Shes now 13 weeks and shes getting a little too big for it so we might switch to the sit me up
