one week growth spurt?!

My baby went from eating 1.5-2 oz of breast milk every 3 hours to 2-3 oz every 90 mins. She is one week one. Is there such a thing as a one week old growth spurt?! I don't want to overfeed her

Are you pumping and then bottle feeding? If so, make sure you are paced feeding.

From the breast, just feed on demand! There are so many growth spurts-especially in the beginning. It's also helping to really bring in your milk supply. I've always read that you can't overfeed a baby from the breast

If you are not practicing paced bottle feeding, it's very easy to overfeed.
And from kellymom:
Common times for growth spurts are during the first few days at home and around 7-10 days, 2-3 weeks, 4-6 weeks, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months and 9 months (more or less). Babies don’t read calendars, however, so your baby may do things differently.

Their bellies get larger pretty quickly. You can find a chart online that shows how big their stomachs are. But, if she's eating then she's hungry. A baby won't over eat. My daughter was at 2.5 ounces by a week old! Congrats on your blessing!
