Shielding Your Kids

Does it annoy anybody else when people say how pissed they'd be if their kids turned out gay? Or they go on a rant because their kids see a gay couple in public? It's not a disease. You can't catch it and neither can your damn kids!!! It hasnt been classified as a disease for years upon years!!! What's your thoughts? Can you "catch" it? Also, do you believe we can do anything to shield our kids from it? I think we all need to realize that it's how people are born and there's nothing wrong with it. People disgust me thinking the way they do...
