So I am on the nexplanon implant. Now fun fact about my boyfriend is he won't have sex until it is 2days after period is over and that is a 100% positive it's over. Now one of the side affects of the implant is a prolonged period. I've been on mine sense the 16 of last month and my next period is supposed to start in a week. I have had single days where I haven't bleed and single days only. I tried to ask boyfriend if he might be willing to have sex as I wasn't bleeding today. And I got a I'm sorry but I don't trust your body not to start bleeding.

Right now I have the stress of a new job and now a month long period on top of it. I haven't been able to go so do anything because of how unpredictable it's been and it's been causing irritation when using feminine products. I have to started to accept that I might not be able to have sex with my boyfriend because of this stupid implant. And the doctors refuse to take it out even though it is causing emotional mental and physical issues.

I don't know what to do. And all I want is some romantic interaction with my boyfriend but can't.
