When is too old????

Im 46, my husband is 32....i have no children, he has one, we are trying to conceive without IVF.....is it in vain? Am I wasting time

Unfortunately you don't have time to wait & find out. 😕  I would be going straight to ivf. I've just turned 41 (my husband is 43 next month) and we've had all fertility testing done. There's no clinical reason why we can't get pregnant (have tried without help for 7 months), it's purely down to time - which we don't have a lot of. So we have now started the ivf option. Gestation alone is 9 months - another 'time' thing you need to think about. Whatever you decide to do, you need to be totally comfortable with. Good luck! 😊👍🏼

Never.... you're only too old when you're dead especially with all this technology so never give up

Old eggs are your enemy. Mine too. If you are going to speak with IVF people look up egg donation first and discuss it. One round will perhaps let you know if you produce eggs, if theyfertilize, and if they grow. You can also genetically test them. It is really common at our age to fine all three that make it to day five are genetically very abnormal.  It is also normal at our age to harvest ten and have none that "make it".
