Diaper Genie?

Question

I want one but I have seen mixed reviews as to whether it's worth it or not. I personal hate when my sister just leaves my nieces in the regular trash can because I feel it makes it smell. I would take the diaper out Everytime but I'll probably be alone with my little one as my bf works out of town a lot. So any opinions?? Yay or nay??

I like ours a lot. I use it all the time too. My only complaint is once you are out of newborn sized diapers they fill up so fast. I've never had a problem with them smelling.

I love ours, we have it downstairs where we change it a majority of the day and then just a flip top garbage upstairs for night and it is such a difference. No smell at all downstairs even after poops

For me they would be a waste as we are doing cloth diapers but my sister in-law loves hers

I LOVE our Ubbi diaper pail. I never smell anything unless I leave the lid open (which I only did once). I like this one because you can use regular trash bags instead of paying for the specific ones.

If you get one don't go for the manual one. We had the manual diaper genie for our daughter and sometimes it wouldn't twist the bag/diaper and it was extremely hard to cut the bags. 😞

I don't have a diaper genie, but a similar type of diaper pail and it's worth it! My little guy has some super smelly diapers and it keeps the smell contained.

We have the Ubbi trash pail and NEVER smell dirty diapers (and my baby's REALLY STINK). It takes any type of bag, so even if you're cloth diapering you can throw a wet bag in there and be good to go.
