3 month old not holding things

My 3 month old doesn't really hold onto anything. I know I shouldn't compare, but his cousins are only 6 weeks older and they've been holding their own bottles for like a month or more now. To be fair, he's mostly bf with the occasional bottle of pumped milk or formula if I forgot to pump before going out. But even his teether or paci he doesn't hold in his hand, just his blanket and lovey which he doesn't really grab, just puts his fist under. He will grab at my breast and shirt and hair when he eats.
