anniversary

My boyfriend and I have had a rough year and we have made it through a lot. This upcoming weekend will be our anniversary and I gave him plenty of heads up to plan something.

I thought it would be a nice way to celebrate but all he did was complain and act like it was a burden. It meant a lot to me and it broke my heart a little because it felt like he crapped over something that was important to me just because it was inconvenient to him. I'm trying to keep my calm but it really hurt.

Am I overreacting or would you feel the same as well if you were in my shoes? Is this just a guy thing?
