reflux meds, probiotic, or formula?!

My son has been on reflux medicine since Friday. I also give him gerber soothe probiotics in his first bottle of the day. He has been pooping A lot lately. He is in similac total comfort formula. Takes 4 oz every 3 hours. I'm wondering if the probiotic OR the reflux medicine is causing the frequent Bowles daily. OR is it the formula?! He is on radadine for reflux.

How old is your LO? Mine also drinks 4 oz every 3 hours by goes from about 10-3 at night and then eats again 6-7. She is just over 3 weeks old

My LO is on total comfort as well. She has had issues with diarrhea from when we got home from the hospital and was on similac advance and doc thought minor milk allergy so we went to total comfort. Her poops are better but she has been a big pooper from the start and still poops about 3 big times a day. I give her probiotics every morning by mouth (BioGaiai) and I think they do tend to make her poop but I did notice the second day on the total comfort she had a thicker poop and it has helped keep her poops from not getting that way. I would still keep on the probiotic because it gives them that good bacteria. My LO is gas issues because she is a very bad sucker when it comes to feedings and I have switched to Dr Brown bottles and that has helped so much but she's not in love with them so feedings can be long sometimes.
