Am I having a contraction?

Every so often it feels like the baby is completely pushing upward towards my rib cage and my belly gets really hard and tight and feels like a lot of pressure but it isn't really painful so I'm wondering, is this a contraction?! Lol

Sounds like it. I was just in the hospital and they said it like a tightening feeling like muscles tighten up then loosen up.  In a normal pattern. If it's irregular then it my be braxton Hicks.

That sounds just like Braxton Hicks to me!

Make sure you're well hydrated (they can happen more frequently if you're getting dehydrated), otherwise, they're totally normal :)

I just saw my midwife and she literally said exactly what u described. It's been 8 years for me since I've had one and needed a refresher. Sounds like you're having a contraction
