✨ Birth Control Decisions ✨
I've never wanted to use birth control before for several reasons but I want to set aside my paranoia and give it a try.
I fail at taking pills and there's no way I could take a pill everyday. I hate shots. I refuseeee to have something inserted inside of my body (I don't even use tampons! 😂). Obviously my options are nonexistent, right?! I thought about it and I decided if I'm going to do this, I want to try the shot form of birth control. Can someone please give me reliable information about it and any personal experiences they have had with it (good and bad)?
This whole thing is based on being with someone who I trust so that's not a problem.
✨ My main questions are: ✨
1. Does it completely stop your period from coming monthly?
2. Is it safe (prevents pregnancy) to not use a condom each time you have sex? (Obviously if it's a random person or anyone who has a disease, it would be necessary to have a condom on to help prevent STDs.)/Is there statistics somewhere like "___ in ___ women have gotten pregnant from ___."?
3. What are side effects that I could possibly experience/Have you had any side effects from it?
4. How often do I have to get the shot so it can continue to be effective?
5. Does the shot just go in your arm or what?
Anything else you can share about it or any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. 😊
