A couple of weeks ago my Aunt agreed to babysit our daughter for the evening (5-9:30) tonight. About a week ago our family found out about some stuff we're going through (we had separated for awhile and he got someone else pregnant while we were separated). We're back together now and he has nothing to do with this girl except stuff to do with baby.

My aunt texted me saying they're excited to see Ellie (our daughter) tonight and to see me but it's best my husband wait in the car as it isn't a good idea for him to come in the house.

I'm not sure what to do! That is so disrespectful toward my husband and my relationship and the decision we've made to be together. It's not okay with me for someone to be watching my daughter who doesn't respect her daddy.

If someone thought it best I not come into their house I'd be sad and hurt and a little angry. So I would want my husband to stand up for me. I don't know what he would expect out of me, but personally I'd kind of hope he'd cancel and be offended by them not wanting me inside.
