Ultrasound Before 1st Appt

I just received a call from my OB's nurse telling me that she was placing an order for an ultrasound. I asked why I would get this done before my initial appt and she said since he (my Dr) had my betas tested, he wants me to get this done before he sees me. I'm nervous and scared! I had a blighted ovum back in November and im terrified it's going to happen again.
