Yesterday around 9 pm I got my first positive opk. I always ovulate around 24 hours after my first positive. I know a lot of women don't feel their O but I do. It feels like very light period pain.

So I already knew that it will probably happen this evening/night. I just had an OB GYN appointment. Nothing special, just my annual check up. He asked me if I want to have an ultrasound. Of course I want to. Just checking if O already happened or not. He showed me my fully grown/developed egg and told me that everything seems ready for the jump (or take off or whatever you want to call it). It was beautiful. Well, just a dark ovally shaped thingy. But to me it was beautiful. He told me that it will likely happen in the next few hours, definitely this evening and hubby and I should baby dance tonight. Our chances are really good this month.

He said "Bye for now. I'm sure I will see you VERY soon!"

I'm almost 34 and took BC for 17 years. I still have eggs (as it seems)! So I'm in a very happy mood right now. Just wanted to share this with everyone 30+ and/or who took BC for many years. Don't panic! Our bodies got us covered. :)
