Doula help!
So I signed up for a Doula and she and I have a birth plan set up. The services are free through the hospital. If I choose to deliver there which I'm thinking maybe. IDK! I keep getting mixed reviews from both hospitals. And my OB delivers at both so it doesn't my my decision any easier.
Anyway, I'm having a really hard time connecting with her. She also teaches the classes I attend for natural birth and it was only one class and we didn't go over any pain coping techniques. I'm unsure if we were going to or needed to but I felt rushed through my initial meeting with her.
I'll give her another chance but I'm seriously thinking of paying for a doula but my fear is the price. Am I overreacting in this? I just want my husband in the room and a doula and that's it. What do you think I should do? Schedule another meeting with her? One with my husband? He has yet to meet her.
