If you didn't have a period inbetween a miscarriage and a new pregnancy... how does the doctor date the pregnancy? Just by the U/S.

Miscarried on April 11th. No period. Ovulated on May 10th-ish. DTD on May 9th & 10th. Super super faint Positive on the 20th... U/S today said 5 weeks 6 days. I was guessing 6.5-7ish weeks. Is this possible!??

I had a miscarriage on April 14 and am pregnant immediately following that. We had our first ultrasound when I was guessing about 6 weeks. The tech measured the baby and dated the pregnancy at 6w3d - so not far off from what I thought. I'm now 8w1d.

I had a miscarriage on April 21 and got preg right after as well. Going for an appointment next week and if all is good will get referred to another doc as my doc doesn't deliver. Longest wait ever for a ultrasound. Just want to know if it's ok it not.
