So I'm currently 38-1 weeks pregnant with my first. My husband has a 2.5year old daughter who I treat just as I would my own child. She calls me mommy all on her own we didn't teach her we didn't force her and she knows who her mother is l, she gets excited to go over there etc. Well mom has a problem with it which as a parent aslong as it wasn't forced upon my child and my child still knew that I was mommy I wouldn't care. The more love the better. How do you tell her that she needs to call me by my name vs mommy especially when the new baby is going to call me mommy? Would you have a problem as a parent if this was your situation as the other parent? And again it's my husband not a boyfriend that I've been with for two weeks and his daughter calls me mom
