Thick Lining after Miscarriage & D&C
Anyone else have this? I'm having a hard time finding anything about it. A few days after my D&C I was in horrendous pain.. I got in with my OBGYN and he pulled out a huge piece of tissue.. pathology said the next day it was decidua (the lining of the uterus during pregnancy). Ultrasound said my lining was 22 mm and should've been 5 mm. The pain was so much better but a week later, still bleeding. Went in to see my doctor for another follow up and he said that my body was most likely trying to overcompensate for the fetus that was failing to thrive, that's why my lining was so thick? The ultrasound said my lining went down to 10mm in a week, and I need to go back for another follow up to make sure it keeps going down.. anyways, anyone else have this kind of experience? Thanks in advance!
