So I'm 17 and my boyfriend is 16. We've been together for 2 years and 6months. This year we'll have the opportunity to visit open days at our chosen universities for 2018 enrollment. The open days are approaching and he hasn't booked any and being a nice girlfriend I keep reminding him to do so. Yesterday I told him about the open days for the unis we have in common so he said why not come to them with me. So I said sure and booked days off work assuming his mum will take both I and him to the universities. But today he still hasnt booked anything and doesn't even know the dates for his uni open days, so I decide to help him out. By telling him to book the unis we have in common as I thought this would be more important as I booked the day off and need to go but his mum is my only ride. He keeps putting it off and not booking it making excuses. We had an argument over it me saying its not fair that you invited me to come with you and you cant even be bothered to book your placement. Keeping in mind I booked my place with no guests so even if I asked someone else to drop me they cant attend with me because I did not state in my booking that I had a guest assuming I would be with my boyfriend and his mum. I'm really upset about it am I overreacting?
